Friday is my Make a Friend Day

Friday! At last! Where have you been all my life?
Today is my favorite day of the week... Ok maybe not. Saturdays are good and Sundays are ok except for lately. Those are the days I have to say good-bye for the week to Mr H.

I had a good today at school though. More people are starting to talk to me. One thing I'm not sure of though, is if I repel girls. No girls talk to me. Only guys. Why is this? On my way out today I passed a super tall man, all by himself. So I smiled at him. Just a normal smile, saying hi. So he stopped me to talk. In the four minute conversation we found out that his brother lives in the same town that I'm from and we talked about our classes. A funny thing though, me mentioned that he stopped to talk to me cause I have a pretty eyes and a nice smile. Ok. Thanks.
Then at the bank, the manager came up to me in line and asked if I was on my lunch break. Well, yes and no. I was just out of class, heading home. He asked if I'd ever worked in a bank. (No.) He told me that if I was looking for a job, to please go on the-banks-website.com and apply there. While we were talking, all these people in line turned and looked at me. Fine, but... can you say awkward?

I guess I must be glowing... any one know why?
I get to see the husband today!!!!!!! I guess I make more friends on Fridays. So don't even try on a Monday people. Haha! Just kidding.

Anyways, I must admit that things are ok right now. Super difficult not having the hubby here and I HATE it. I am crying less at night though.

I hope you all have a great weekend! Keep reading! Those papers are bound to come one of these days!!!

Enough Numbers Give Me Movies

I am going to stop counting. It looks silly when I attempt writing a number for each of the days that I'm here in the states. Maybe we'll try this again some other time. Maybe once my hubby and I are here together I'll record the days he's been here.
Good idea? I don't know.

So to those that read this. I see that you do. So comment. You like what I'm babbling about or not so much that particular day. You don't need to put your name down, just help me out.
I'd love to be able to have a blog like Julie in the Julie & Julia movie, but lets face it. My life is not that interesting, at least not yet.

Speaking of movies, have any of you seen good movies lately? I rented I Can Do Bad All By Myself on Sunday. I am a Tyler Perry fan, so I really liked the movie. One of the ladies in my interpersonal communication class told me to watch 7 Pounds with Will Smith. Do y'all have any suggestions?
When my hubby and I got married I started making a list of classic movies he needed to see. Most of them were little kid movies but they were still necessary for him to watch. Movies like Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and lots more.
So here's your chance to add to my list. Movies that one must see! Come people.

Day Nine

What a great weekend.
I had a beautiful time with my hubby even though we didn't have much time.
He ended up working all day on Saturday which is normally only half day. It was ok, I enjoyed sleeping in and just chillin' out. The next day I decided to go back to the apartment in the states so I wouldn't have to worry about making it over the border in time for class. So before heading out the two of us shared some mango ice cream at the park. It was a great, blue sky day that I got to enjoy with my favorite person. My birthday was also really nice. It was really quiet, just how I like it. We had dinner just our family and enjoyed an amazing cake that my husband made. It was G-R-E-A-T

A funny thing I've been noticing is that I've changed my husband in ways I didn't expect.
I know that once a couple gets married they start to grow on each other and become more of one image instead of two separate ones. So I expected to like or dislike some more of the same foods and maybe fold laundry the same way. Some of the simpler ways were that he from using one pillow to two and little things like that.
The weird thing though is the physical stuff. I am lactose-intolerant and recently milk and ice cream and the like have been making my husband sick. Can allergies be passed to others like that?

Day Five

Finally. My week is finally almost over. It seems like it has been crawling. I don't mind my classes. It just seems like it takes too long. The commute plus the class or classes each day. I don't have anything to do yet except homework after class so I just sit here.
I think I found a job so we'll see next week after my second interview.
When I had the first interview the lady asked me if Monday was alright for the interview and I just said sure. I can't believe I forgot; it's my birthday on Monday. So I have an interview on my birthday. If I get the job, it'll be a great topper to the day. If not, well we'll just see how I feel.

After being so bored here this weekend I think I'll be heading to see my hubby this weekend. It has been so awful without him. Sleeping is the worse part. Even getting into bed is a killer. I miss our pillow talk and him hugging me while we sleep. So you can imagine, talking to no one all afternoon and then not even at night plus sleeping alone. There hasn't been one night that I haven't cried. I might even burst into tears writing this. That is how much I miss him. So if you are the immigration officer reading this, I miss my husband. Please hurry up with the papers! This is killing me!!!

So I won't write to you until probably Tuesday. I will be way to busy enjoying my husband's company and then I don't plan on blogging on my birthday so... until then. Adios!

Day Three

First day of classes.
Everything at school went fine, as far as classes go. Besides the greatness of the day, I had a moment of great anger [which I didn't show to those around me]. Over and over again, I have gone to the financial aid office at school trying to figure out when I get the money due me. Some said the 5th, some said the 11th, then last week someone tried to explain to me why I wouldn't get it until the 17th. What? Ok fine, I wasn't going to argue with them. But then today!!!! Oh my ever loving goodness!! I asked about why I hadn't received my money and then proceeded to tell the guy what the last guy told me. Last guy was wrong. Wow. I got the money today. The financial aid office didn't tell me this, oh no. The business office did, after 15 minutes of waiting for a girl who didn't know how to use a computer.

*Inhale. Exhale*

Ok, I'm alright now. I just don't understand how so many people can have so many different answers to the same question and they have all been wrong.
So thank you for wasting my time people.

Apart from that, it took me more than 30 minutes to find a parking spot this morning. I was almost late to class. Luckily I got to school super early today and just drove around and around until someone left. Wow. I wasted more gas just looking for a parking spot than it took to get to school, and I commute! I hope this isn't an every day ordeal. Oh Lord, please let it be just because it's the first week!

Tomorrow is the start to an all new day. I have two classes and then I'm heading out to look for a job.
Wish me luck!
